Description:A view south along Liverpool Road, Stoke from its junction with Shelton Old Road. Shelton Old Road is on the right, with the learner driver in the Standard 8 car entering Liverpool Road. In between the two roads, immediately behind the car is the Denbigh Castle Inn. On the left hand side is another public house, the Bridge Inn, which dates from 1878. The road off to the left beyond the Bridge Inn is Copeland Street. The area in the photograph has been much changed by building of the Shelton Old Road/A500 (Queensway) bridge and intersection.
