Description:A view west along Ashwood from just beyond Manse Close. Terraced houses and corner shops. The whole area has been cleared and redeveloped for housing.

The man on the right behind the car is Derrick Lloyd holding hands with his son David Lloyd.
Derrick Lloyd was a pottery decorator and retained fireman who lived in Smith Street (sign shown behind in the photograph).
