Description:Moorland Road High School consists of two buildings constructed between 1878 and 1900. This picture shows the front west side of the first building. It is mainly one storey with some first floor projections approximately five rooms wide by two rooms deep. There is a large bell tower at the south end. The ground floor has two large dormer projecting gables at either end comprising two very large casement windows which have decorated terracotta blocked entablatures. One of the decorated entablatures has the inscription 'A.D. 1894'.
