Description:View of the bar on permanent display in the local history gallery at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.

The display is a recreation of a Victorian bar room in Tunstall.

However, residents of the Packmoor area have claimed that the bar and shelves were in fact taken from The Miner's Arms in Mellor Street, Packmoor, when it was demolished in the early 1980s.

Two images supplied by John Smith, grandson of one the pub's landlords (during the late 1950s), seem to confirm these claims.
