Description:Bentilee housing estate looking down Dawlish Drive towards the central shopping area and the church.

When built in the 1950s this was the largest post-war housing estate in Europe. It was a self-contained township in its own right and had a Woolworths store, Boots Chemist, medical clinic, pubs, clubs, churches, schools and library.
