Description:Modeller's calipers.

Pottery-making tool used to transfer modelling measurements.

The tool is rougthly 37cm in length and consists of two wooden shafts, each with a curved metal tip.

A wing nut secures the pivot.

The letter 'I' is engraved on one leg.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

This object is now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
