Description:Modelling tool made from wood.
It is a pottery-making tool used for modelling soft clay. Roughly 30cm in length.
This tapered tool has a smooth rounded body and a flattened rounded head at each end.
The ends are curved, giving the tool its S shape.
The letters AN are scratched into the surface of the tool.
It was used by a modeller named Arthur Credlington at Beswick's pottery factory.
