Description:Biscuit brush with a wooden handle and long bristles.

Used in pottery making to brush biscuit holloware in preparation for dipping.

The tool was taken from the Ascot Works, Clough Street, Hanley.

It is roughly 32cm in length.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

This object is now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
