Description:Ceramic flower-making tray.

This highly fired biscuit bone china plate was probably used to hold hand-made china flowers whilst drying.

Alternatively, it could have been used for making a posy containing 18 small flowers.

The plate bears the name 'Mary', which is written in pencil.

Roughly 24cm in diameter.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

This object is now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
