Description:A meeting to discussed a proposed new canal linking the Trent and Mersey has been rescheduled.

It will now take place at midday on 1 June 1796, at the Roebuck in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This notice is now part of the collection at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
