Description:Turquiose blue slub linen suit comprising jacket, skirt and two matching blouses. Jacket in peplum style, single breasted, fastening at front with three covered buttons. Long sleeves with turn back cuffs trimmed with two covered buttons. Collar, lapels and cuffs all with an embroidered white snowflake design. Lined with white silk. Flared skirt with inverted V-shaped panels front and back. White acetate lining. Side fastening zips and hooks and eyes. The jacket was altered in style in the 1950s. Lady Bagot wore this outfit to open Colton Village Fete in 1953.
