Description:Lantern slide of a beach scene including a group of people by a lifeboat house. This is probably the beach at Ainsdale near Formby, Lancashire where photographer William Blake grew up. Blake moved to Longton to open a stationer's shop in Stafford Street (now the Strand) in 1900.
