Description:This plan is of Shelton Cemetery Chapel on Cemetery Road. The building was erected in 1860 and is actually comprised of two chapels: one for Church of England followers and the other for non-conformist faiths such as methodism. The archway in the middle was built to allow a carriage through with the two smaller arches being for people on foot. The building is made of sandstone and was designed by Henry Ward and Son, and is now Grade II listed.
