Description:Children playing in the graveyard of St. John's Church, Burslem. St. John's church was rebuilt in 1717, retaining its late perpendicular embattled west tower (circa 1536). The stone tower has crenellations and buttresses on the corners and below the parapet crenellations is a stone course with gargoyles.
